Skimming Instagram and my fave bloggers I came across the new ‘in’ thing. And yes, thank the Lord, it has brought comfort back to our crippled tootsies. The Vans laceless beauties have had a fashion re-work, because lets be honest we are no Avril-skater-boy. As much as I’d like a pair of the Celine Skate slip ons sneaks, they are way out of my price range. But the Great British high street has come to my rescue and provided some top notch dupes.
Grab them before they go, you heard it here first, well, kinda!
Check out my fave fashion lady who wears the slip on sneaks in that ever-so cool way! Envious face…
I think like the rest of us, I’m slightly obsessed with Olivia Palermo’s oh-so effortless-ly stylish look.
Her hair, makeup, clothes- LIFE! Leaves me green with envy! I think shes the most pinterest-ed lady of mine at the minute. I like the casual yet polished thrown togetherness she achieves, that, if my bank balance would allow, I would fashion myself on!
Instead what I have done is put together a couple of pieces that are within my budget, kinda!
Getting ready for a night out is one of my fave parts of the night! I like taking my time, putting my spotify on and casually having a tipple in the process! This time around I thought I’d share couple of photos with you. I even managed to watch a little Tanya Burr make up tutorial!
My whole actual outfit, except from my heels; which are Topshop, is from H&M! Until I started writing this post I hadn’t realise! Tut! But yey to H&M!
Anywhoo, I have Nails Inc Motcomb Street on my nails, a variety of nude-y eyeshadows from MAC, Urban Decay and Bobbi Brown. I have on lonesome ring on from &OtherStories!
I love an outlet scrounge and for the past couple of weekend I’ve ended up visiting York and Cheshire Oaks outlet stores.
I came back with this beautiful coat, which I grabbed at The Kooples and other bits and bobs including some MAC makeup and a couple Yankee Candles.
If you managed to get to either designer outlet; my fave stores include The Kooples, The Cosmetic Store, Yankee Candle and Penhaligons (amazing perfumery!) at York; then, Mulberry, All Saints and Joseph at Cheshire Oaks.
Anywhoo, this is the outfit I wore to Cheshire Oaks, its outside and it’s been super chilly, hence the bobble hat!
Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Jeans: Miss Selfridge
Coat: The Kooples
I’ve done a little research and these outlet stores can be found around Europe too! For us brits they are spotted up and down the country. Check this link here to see if one is near you!
I’ve really struggled this year with finding something to wear for the party season. I’m not the biggest fan of sparkly/glittery numbers and find I wear them once and never again. I’m also trying to be more savvy by buying quality as so much quantity.
So I had a moment during my monthly read of Company magazine; leather edit and PING a leather dress? Yes please! It satisfied my savvy, yet quality needs. Luckily ASOS had 25% off at the weekend so the price was right too!
I’ve been back to the Topshop market this week! YEY! Sometimes I go and there is NAFF all, but I really dropped on this time and managed to come away with four pairs of shoes!!
The best thing is, is that 3 of the pairs are still available in Topshop! I was speaking to the guy that runs it and he says he has a contract with Arcadia so has bits and bobs from their other stores too.
Every single pair of boots you see in the top piccie are from this market, I think I have a problem?!
But if your like me, who can justify every single purchase, then why the hell not?!
The pair of Shelley heels I mentioned in a previous post about Made In Chelsea Style , check it out here, so I was sooo excited when I saw them for £20!! I also did a post on a few other bits that I bought last time I shopped their, check it out here
