Twenty-something self professed lover of all things beauty, hair and fashion related. From hair style tutorials to product reviews; I hope to give frank, no nonsense advise that helps the everyday girl feel better about themselves.
I feel like I’d been neglecting my Michael Korrs watch; something I’ve worn obsessively since I clicked purchase on ASOS. Honestly, it’s been more fallen out of love than neglect. I feel like everywhere I turn I see that familiar gold/rose sheen and it sort-of puts me off wearing mine. Sorry if your still in your head over heels stage! 🙂
The dilemma stands, I like wearing a watch and seen as though I can’t wear one for work, wearing one, when I can becomes priority. It’s like the nurses-nail polish thing; day off = nail polish time!
Now I’m lusting over these simple large faced watches. I’ve seen them being bashed around on Instagram and street style blogs alike. And, I must say, I have fell dearly in love and it’s just a matter of choosing my favourite.
Currently, I’m watching a couple of the Larsson and Jennings watches on EBay but I also love the Daniel Wellington Sheffield Man watch too.
I think one of these watches will definitely be frequenting my wrist very soon!
Skimming Instagram and my fave bloggers I came across the new ‘in’ thing. And yes, thank the Lord, it has brought comfort back to our crippled tootsies. The Vans laceless beauties have had a fashion re-work, because lets be honest we are no Avril-skater-boy. As much as I’d like a pair of the Celine Skate slip ons sneaks, they are way out of my price range. But the Great British high street has come to my rescue and provided some top notch dupes.
Grab them before they go, you heard it here first, well, kinda!
Check out my fave fashion lady who wears the slip on sneaks in that ever-so cool way! Envious face…
Being a total Diptyque virgin, I finally sucked it up and purchased my first fragrance, Tam Dao! As I’ve grown up, my sickly Paris Hilton meets Britney Spears sweet has been replaced with more grown up scents. I like my scents to be just on the brink of aftershave smelling. Their is a fine line you know and near that line, is where Tam Dao lies. It has marvelous balance of freshness with a woody undertone which makes it very wearable. I had a peak on the Diptyque website and they describe Tam Dao as…
‘The mountains of Tonkin tremble under the weighty steps of elephants carrying uprooted trees of precious wood through the vines. Majestic sandalwood breathes out its redolence in the sweltering heat of the jungle…Tam Dao pays tribute to the most sought-after of the sacred woods: the sandalwood of Goa.’
Who doesn’t want to smell like a sacred wood in Goa?!
I bought the 50ml because I get very bored and flit around perfume like a women gone mad! I also hear that the ol’ Michael Buble wears a bit of Tam Dao!
I’m sure this wont be the last of my Diptyque purchases, no sir-eee!
I think like the rest of us, I’m slightly obsessed with Olivia Palermo’s oh-so effortless-ly stylish look.
Her hair, makeup, clothes- LIFE! Leaves me green with envy! I think shes the most pinterest-ed lady of mine at the minute. I like the casual yet polished thrown togetherness she achieves, that, if my bank balance would allow, I would fashion myself on!
Instead what I have done is put together a couple of pieces that are within my budget, kinda!
Getting ready for a night out is one of my fave parts of the night! I like taking my time, putting my spotify on and casually having a tipple in the process! This time around I thought I’d share couple of photos with you. I even managed to watch a little Tanya Burr make up tutorial!
My whole actual outfit, except from my heels; which are Topshop, is from H&M! Until I started writing this post I hadn’t realise! Tut! But yey to H&M!
Anywhoo, I have Nails Inc Motcomb Street on my nails, a variety of nude-y eyeshadows from MAC, Urban Decay and Bobbi Brown. I have on lonesome ring on from &OtherStories!
